Maxim's Group won four awards in the ‘Take a “Brake” Low Carbon Action — Corporate Green Driving Award Scheme’. Maxim’s Cakes & Bakery Factory won the gold award for the categories “Fuel Efficiency Improvement” and “Fuel Consumption Saver” respectively. Maxim’s Food Factory also accredited gold award in “Fuel Efficiency Improvement” category and silver tier award in “Fuel Consumption Saver” category.
Organized by Friends of the Earth (HK) and fully supported by Environmental Protection Department, ‘Take a “Brake” Low Carbon Action — Corporate Green Driving Award Scheme’ aims at raising the awareness on roadside air pollution and provide sustainable suggestions to lower harmful emissions generated by company vehicle fleets. Judging criteria of the scheme based on the effectiveness of an initiative in reducing consumption. Gold award winners must have achieved an improvement of 5% or above and winners of silver award must have achieved 3% or above.
